Chris Lesner is the Founder and CEO of Project World Impact (PWI). While in university, he helped start a digital marketing company that grew to have significant revenue in just two years, working with multiple Fortune 500 clients. At age 20, Chris founded PWI, with the vision of being able to impact hundreds of millions of people. Near the end of college, Chris left his original company, to devote his full-time to PWI.
Under Chris's leadership, PWI pioneered projectworldimpact.com, an unparalleled nonprofit "hub" dedicated to bolstering the online presence of thousands of nonprofits. These associated nonprofits have collectively raised over $1 Billion annually and garnered the attention of more than 15 million cause-driven visitors since the site's launch.

The presentation will provide an overview of the role of Aging and Disability Resource Centers in the community and why becoming Inform USA accredited is important when working with stakeholders. The presentation will include a summary of the accreditation process and standards. The role of an ADRC will be connected with each Inform USA standard to demonstrate how and why ADRCs and Inform USA are related. Planning strategies will be presented to encourage how the accreditation process can look within large and small agencies. Information will also be presented to gain buy-in from upper leadership within an agency, the board of directors, and advisory committees.

Sarah has a Master of Library and Information Studies degree from Dalhousie University and first entered the I&R world in 2014 with 211 Nova Scotia as the Database Manager. In 2018, she became an AIRS Database Reviewer for the Accreditation program and in 2020, she was hired as AIRS Staff. Sarah supports and manages the Certification program with the Certification Commission and is working to develop new ways AIRS can support its members through data analysis and reporting.

Tiffany spent 10 years leading a team of 27+ FTEs at a global nonprofit, where she successfully increased revenue by securing nearly 40 million dollars. She has a master’s degree in social work and holds both clinical and macro licensure in the State of Michigan. Tiffany has extensive experience serving on funding allocation committees, teaching as an adjunct professor at the graduate level, and advocating for community change by sitting on various system-level committee boards. When not working, Tiffany can be found taking her Labrador on walks, eating sushi, watching her kids in sports, or engaging in home renovation despite her husband’s chagrin.

As one of the oldest isms, ageism is the only prejudice that shows hate towards our future selves. Ageism is a systemic barrier to service provision that affects everyone -stroll down any greeting card aisle and be bombarded by negative tropes. The numbers don’t lie- trillions of dollars a year are acquired by perpetuating the belief that “staying young” is ideal and “getting old” is a shameful disease to be avoided. However, getting older is one of the greatest scientific breakthroughs of our time, and celebrating birthdays can give you more birthdays to celebrate (7.5 to be precise)! Join us, educate yourself, embrace aging, and fight for a better future where growing old is seen as an opportunity rather than a liability.

Prior to working with Catholic Family Services as the MatureMinds Coordinator, Jenna engaged older adults through virtual platforms, worked in family ministry, and directed a youth centre. Her educational background is in Community Recreation from Brock University and Niagara College. For over a decade, Jenna has been a “storyteller” for those whose voices often get lost in the shuffle. Through both poetry and prose, she has advocated for the encouragement and resiliency found in others. In recent years, Jenna has become a spokesperson against ageism, recognizing that a cultural shift needs to occur if we are to see “growing old” as an opportunity, not a liability. Jenna is passionate about her faith, puns, and people. She wants people to know that they are valued and firmly believes that the greatest superpower is hope.

Over the next few months, states will be faced with the daunting task of unwinding key protections for Medicaid and SNAP that were put in place during the COVID-19 pandemic. Health coverage for millions is at risk now the Medicaid continuous enrollment condition has ended, while many households may experience increased challenges applying for or renewing SNAP. Individuals who directly support people affected by changes to their Medicaid or SNAP benefits will play a critical role in helping navigate the return to routine policies. Those who interface with Medicaid and SNAP clients should understand what is at stake when these policies end, be prepared with information on upcoming changes, and help enrollees ensure they can maintain benefits if eligible.

Allie Gardner is the Senior Research Associate at the Georgetown University McCourt School of Public Policy’s Center for Children and Families (CCF). Her work focuses on eligibility and enrollment policy, with a current emphasis on unwinding the COVID-19 continuous coverage protection. She also works on Medicaid section 1115 demonstration policies. Allie served as CCF’s Graduate Research Intern before her current role. Before joining CCF, she worked on domestic health policy at a state children’s hospital, as well as foreign economic policy issues, while serving in the public sector. She has a Master’s in Public Policy from Georgetown’s McCourt School and a BS in Economics from the University of Alabama, specializing in Public Policy and Law.

Jennifer Wagner is the Director of Medicaid Eligibility & Enrollment with the Center on Budget and Policy Priorities. She focuses on how policy, operations, and technology can improve the enrollment experience for clients and staff and ensure more eligible individuals access needed supports. She also advances policies to increase coordination among public benefit programs, including SNAP, WIC, and TANF. Previously, she was an Associate Director with the Illinois Department of Human Services, where she was responsible for SNAP and TANF policy and oversaw local office operations statewide. Jennifer played a major role in the modernization of policy, business processes, and technology in connection with Affordable Care Act implementation in Illinois. She was also a Skadden Fellow at the Sargent Shriver National Center on Poverty Law. She is a 2008 graduate of Northwestern University School of Law and holds a B.S. from the University of Wisconsin – Madison.

Artrese is a dynamic leader who inspires and develops people, a respected and accomplished activator who consistently communicates a clear vision and strategy for reaching goals, and an engaging relationship builder who develops authentic and collaborative working relationships to unify people and inspire innovative ideas. Before joining 211/CIE San Diego, Beth was a director at AcademyHealth, developing collaborative learning infrastructure for researchers and communities to share best practices, challenges, and lessons learned around using and exchanging electronic data to improve population health and patient outcomes.

She served on the board of the Childcare Resource and Research Unit and the South Asian Legal Clinic of Ontario and as Executive Director of the Council of Agencies Serving South Asians (CASSA). She is a City-Wide Organizer at Social Planning Toronto and a member of the Ontario Human Rights Commission’s Community Advisory Group. Anita holds a Master's in Social Work from the University of Toronto and lives in Ottawa.
